This key leadership position will establish and drive priorities across Program Enablement and is focused on enhancing the customer experience through integrating physical and digital infrastructure, projects, and services to deliver seamless, impactful solutions tailored to customer needs.
The Senior Manager, Program Enablement leads the delivery of large-scale projects ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget, to achieve outcomes for Deakin.
Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Delivery, the Senior Manager will contribute to the establishment of project teams, managing key delivery and reporting elements of multiple projects and the allocation and optimisation of resources to deliver the project within tight timeframes and budget constraints.
Providing advice to leaders/business owners on technical issues, project practice and project/program delivery, the Senior Manager may also interact with external stakeholders/vendors and motivates university representatives to collaborate in resolving conflicts over project priorities and requirements.
The resolution of problems is an inherent requirement of the position, requiring the need to identify and develop alternative approaches and courses of action and their implications for the project.
To be successful, you'll have:
Proven expertise in the management of significant human and material resources Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience Extensive experience in initiating, delivering and managing projects within an agreed timeframe, with strong knowledge of various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (MS Project, JIRA etc.)
Demonstrated strong understanding of contemporary discipline concepts and strategies and the capacity to adapt and implement these for the benefit of an organisation Here's how to apply:
