Senior Cert 5 Arborist – Full-Time PositionLocation : McLeod Trees, Mordialloc, VictoriaAbout UsMcLeod Trees is a well-established arboriculture service provider, specialising in all aspects of arboriculture including consultancy services such as hazard assessments, tree audits, and construction and planning consultation. Our busy office is seeking a passionate and experienced Cert 5 level Arborist to join our team. This full-time role will support our diverse operations, contributing to the management and preservation of tree health and safety across a range of residential, commercial, and public sector projects.About the RoleThe successful candidate will :Identify and report tree data across various residential and commercial properties.Prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Tree Management Plans.Provide project arborist services, including root mapping and NDD investigations.Undertake safety assessments and analysis for individual trees.Competently assess the health and structural integrity of trees.Deliver tree-related consultation for construction and planning processes.Provide support for our operations team, including estimating where required.We are looking for a candidate who has :Advanced skills in tree identification, health and structural integrity assessment.Knowledge of tree protection orders, environmental legislation, planning laws, and environmental overlays.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with team members from various disciplines, clients, and government agencies to deliver innovative solutions that meet client and community expectations.Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required for project needs.Strong organizational skills to manage and plan projects effectively.Experience in preparing and pricing quotes accurately.A positive and can-do attitude for a varied role across our departments where needed.What We OfferAt McLeod Trees, we value professional growth and career development.
