Your OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Law Clerk/Paralegal to join our Commercial Property team. Working directly with our Director and Property Law Accredited Specialist, this role presents the opportunity to support a large and diverse client base, with substantial file autonomy. Our client work ranges from traditional property transactions and property development to high-net-worth agribusiness transactions and landowner compensation negotiations for CSG and mining.As an instrumental member of the team, you will be adept at delivering superior exceptional client service and administrative support for the team. About The RoleThis is a diverse role with a breadth of work types including general commercial property transfers, commercial and retail leasing and bulk property development. We are looking for someone who has had experience working in these areas and wants the ability to run their files with a high degree of autonomy, enjoys working directly with clients and can help coordinate our team with meetings, diary, and workload management.The role involves:-Management of your own conveyancing, leasing and development files, with assistance from senior lawyers.-Rewarding direct client interaction.-Responsibility for engagement and re-engagement of client matters. -Assisting the team with management of the monthly billings process.-Drafting many of your own documents, using our extensive precedents and our practice support software.It is interesting and varied work in a fun team that works collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of our commercial clients.About YouWe are looking for candidates who have a demonstrated understanding of the law and practical experience in Conveyancing, Commercial Leasing and Property Development. Experience coordinating and supporting a team and the ability to help train and develop new team members will also be an advantage.
