An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious New Car Sales Manager looking to join a long-established major-franchise dealer located in the coastal town of Tweed Heads, just over the border from the Gold Coast.
About the role: Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be a part of a vibrant and busy environment. You will be responsible for leading the new car sales team, achieving set objectives, and administering the very best customer experience possible. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be highly organised. As part of your role, you will be expected to achieve volume aspirations, deliver budgeted gross profit, and manage your department's controllable expenses.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate: An ability to manage and develop people in a sales team through one-on-one coaching and training. A passion and clear understanding of the automotive industry. Exceptional customer focus coupled with a strategic sales approach. Highly organised with great communication and negotiation skills. Sound computer skills. Your daily activities would likely consist of: Managing customer enquiries and ensuring your team is following up all opportunities. Ensuring there is a solid marketing plan. Making sure the department is on track to meet business and manufacturer targets. Building and maintaining positive customer and employee relationships. On offer is an attractive remuneration package comprising a retainer of around $70,000 plus incentives which will be discussed with the ideal candidate. Standard superannuation is paid and a company car or car allowance will be provided.
