Central Australian Aboriginal Congress (Congress) is rolling outan innovative approach to resourcing the new and well equippedMparntwe Urgent Care Clinic in Alice Springs.
We're offering flexible Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFIO) blocks of workto be undertaken by a network/group of GPs working as independentcontractors.
By allowing you to choose the time you have off, you'll get therare opportunity to achieve your ideal work/life balance whileusing your skills to improve health in remote Australia.
Clinic hours are 12-8pm Monday to Friday and 12-4pmweekends/public holidays.
There's no nightshift or on-call.
The offer
Independent contracts for rural generalist GPs providing a12-month commitment to minimum 12-day blocks, FIFO with your choiceof time off from the following options:
Option 1: 12 days on (1 weekend and two weeks),16 days off (three weekends and 2 weeks) - incomefor experienced rural GPs up to$350k annuallywhichincludes $50k combined WIP and rural generalist incentive.
Option 2: 12 days on (1 weekend and two weeks),30 days off (five weekends and 4 weeks) - incomefor experienced rural GPsup to $250k annuallywhichincludes $50k combined WIP and rural generalist incentive.
Option 3: 12 days on (1 weekend and twoweeks), 44 days off (seven weekends and 6 weeks) -income for experienced rural SPs up to$186kannuallywhich includes $30k combined WIP and ruralgeneralist incentive. *
* WIP incentives vary with duration of rural and remoteexperience and require 1 year of service with a minimum Medicareclaim.
About the Clinic
The Mparntwe Urgent Care Clinic will improve the way healthservices are delivered in Alice Springs. Working in astate-of-the-art facility, you'll help improve access tobulk-billed urgent care while reducing pressure on the busyhospital system, by providing patients with short term, episodiccare for urgent conditions that are not immediately lifethreatening.
Put simply, you'll help people get the care they needwhen they need it.
