Both Full Time positions are 12 month Fixed Term.As an integral part of Movie World’s Maintenance team your duties will include routine safety checks, preventative maintenance and overhauls of some of Australia’s most exciting equipment and attractions.Your Day To DayUndertake park pre-opening safety checksRespond to breakdowns on various equipment and partaking in various rebuilds and repairs of property within set timeframesStock control and deliveriesEnsure the safety of yourself and others by adhering to OHS proceduresObtain equipment licenses and undertaking training as requiredComplete daily tasks as instructed by the engineering supervisorSuggest improvements in work procedures in order to increase efficiency within the departmentWhat You’ll BringA minimum Engineering Cert III Mechanical Trade - level certificate.Post trade experience desirableExperience in breakdown maintenance and diagnosticsAbility to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematicsWelding and fabrication skills would be highly regardedForklift license and EWP ticket beneficialPhysical fitness to enable the climbing of ladders and stairs and be comfortable working at heights up to 60mAbility to work autonomously without constant supervisionExperience with Maintenance systems such as SAP or Maximo would be highly regarded
