Key responsibilities include:Managing the sale of uniforms, textbooks, and stationery to students, staff, and parents.Supervising shop assistants and volunteers.Maintaining stock levels, displays, and shop presentation in line with the College's standards.Overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and stock management.Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing high-level service and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.Coordinating the Textbook Hire program and second-hand uniform sales.The role requires 38 hours per week during school terms (38 weeks per year), with an additional 5 weeks of work during school holiday periods to ensure the smooth operation of the shop. This schedule provides a blend of regular term-time work with the flexibility to manage holiday tasks and stock preparation.You will report to the Director of Business and Operations and work closely with other administrative and support teams, including Finance and Community Engagement.Ideally, the successful applicant will be available to commence towards the end of November for a period of 2-3 weeks to undertake training and handover. The role would then resume in January.ABOUT YOUWe are seeking an experienced retail professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service, excited to contribute to the life and community of Matthew Flinders Anglican College.
