Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.
Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with inventory accounting, including stock valuation and reporting.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documents.
Provide reports and analysis on sales, expenses, and other key financial metrics.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Manage and track operating expenses (OPEX), ensuring costs are within budget and identifying areas for cost-saving.
Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
The Successful Applicant 1- 2 years experience as an Assistant Accountant Background working in retail-or FMCG industry Working towards CPA/ CA Ability to work as a team player, able to collaborate with other work streams and to help develop compliant and operationally practical solutions regarding technical matters What's on Offer Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 + superannuation, based on experience.
