As part of our growth strategy we are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team.You will play a key role in collaborating with the broader team on both acquisition and retention projects. This is an exciting and engaging role, focusing on the areas of opportunity and growth that we need more capacity to deliver on. You will be supporting strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and retention, and revenue growth. Reporting to the Founder while working in synch with your amazing Digital Marketing Manager, you will leap into the role and be responsible for projects including copywriting, loyalty/retention, and affiliates - all aligned to our well developed Marketing Calendar (who doesn't like to be really well planned!). This is a new role and will ensure the missing pieces of our puzzle are complete for our biggest and best year yet!You will use your proven skills and demonstrated experience in executing campaigns and a genuine love and interest in understanding how and why people view and share content online and what drives people to purchase. Key responsibilities include: This is a 'generalist' marketing role – so the alignment and energy will be perfect for someone wanting to break out of a silo and expand their marketing skill set.Affiliates: Collaborate on the Marketing Calendar with the team to ensure that our Affiliates program comes to life. There will be some exciting growth opportunities and targets for you to work on and achieve. You will need to think differently to ensure our campaigns stand out and get people clicking while maintaining a sustainable margin for the business.Loyalty: Be the day to day engine room of executing our Loyalty Program. We have an established program that is flourishing, however with some additional focus we know it could be so much more, and you will work with the Digital Marketing Manager to identify and implement all the 1% better enhancements against growth targets. You will report on redemption and usage and look at ways to be more customer centric to drive genuine and profitable retention. Content: Copywriting for SEO focused on site articles and coordinating the lifestyle/editorial content series in both the form of journals and lead magnet 'ebook' and brand publications (helps if you have a passion for design/travel/wine and the arts!). This includes copywriting lovely content for email subject lines and body copy, ad copy that gets your interest, SMS that don't annoy you, and website assets that create engagement. Work with Customer Service Manager for weekly check in to assess any issues and proactively brief in on upcoming marketing initiatives that can assist in our retention and loyalty outcomes improving. Let's talk about you! You could be the next addition to our supportive and creative team! With 4+ years digital marketing experience including clear experience in an eCommerce environment, you are ready to be an integral part of the Marketing and Creative team. You will be exposed to similar roles in eCommerce and understand the fast paced nature and the requirement to be well planned and work months ahead when possible but also know that in eCommerce sometimes last minute changes happen and that's ok. With strong time and project management skills, you can work under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment. You'll have a working knowledge of email platforms and know how to build and schedule (ideally Yotpo), eCommerce platforms (ideally Shopify) and understand how a campaign is rolled out across a website, and ideally exposure to Loyalty and SMS.
