DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Find & nurture potential leads by cold calling businesses in the target industry or zone. (Current target industry: CCTV & Alarms / Current target zone: Regional NSW / Riverina)
2. Engage existing customers: contact, manage and follow-up to convert them into consistent, long-term opportunities.
3. Enter & maintain daily customer details and interactions in the CRM (software) for all allocated customer accounts & new opportunities.
4. Conduct pre-sales assistance by understanding and translating customer requirements (including interpreting plans and reading customer correspondence (emails, RFQs)) and providing technical solutions.
5. Answer technical questions and explain applications and products differences/suitability. Prepare quotations and proposals.
6. Follow-up, engage & adapt solutions as required.
7. Ensure current and proficient knowledge of the technical details and application of all the products.
8. Learn & perform product demonstrations and technical presentations as required.
9. Conduct training with customers to ensure efficient and best practice use of equipment (hardware), applications & device management platforms (software).
10. Installation/troubleshooting of solutions.
11. Testing, troubleshooting and processing (repair/replacement) claims according to RMA (warranty) policy.
12. Ongoing design, upkeep and maintenance of company website.
13. Assist customers with website design & liaising with the company’s internal marketing department to support customers' resource needs.
14. Set-up and maintain internal IT equipment & computer network (including computers, printers, CCTV system, Alarm system) and maintaining their current & appropriate software.
15. Other administration/office tasks as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
Relevant IT / Networking or computer science Certificate or Diploma preferred.
Previous Experience:
Software, hardware and/or network sales experience. Customer service and/or support experience. Website maintenance experience preferred but not required. Previous experience with CRM (database) / accounting software a bonus.
Skills:
High level of skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook). High level of verbal and written communication. Outstanding phone etiquette. Ability to work independently & meet KPI’s.
Expected Salary:
$75,000 - $80,000
