Due to our growth, we are seeking to appoint a new HR Advisor to join our rapidly growing team within our Kalgoorlie team.
This is a newly created role within the organisation, providing an exciting opportunity for graduates or someone working in a junior HR role to take the next step in their career.
What you can expect from the role:
Reporting to the Snr HR Advisor, this role supports the business across all aspects of the employment life cycle. From talent management, performance management, industrial relations, engagement, retention and everything in between, this position works across a diverse range of responsibilities and would suit a HR-generalist who is looking to further their career working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
This role will see you work with your stakeholders to lead and deliver best practice HR support that is fit for purpose and meets our overall business and operational objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Support the development and implementation of strategic HR business plans.
* Facilitate the implementation of employee lifecycle activities within the business, including but not limited to attraction, retention, remuneration and benefits, talent management and organisational development activities.
* Manage the development, revision and implementation of HR related policies, procedures and processes.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation (including the Fair Work Act 2009, the National Employment Standards and applicable modern awards).
* Management of all ER matters including case management, end to end investigations, performance management, complaints and grievances, resolution of workplace and disciplinary issues.
You will have the following skills and experience:
* A tertiary qualification and/or significant HR generalist experience within a complex and fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong ability to analyse data to determine performance and action.
* Ability to influence and drive change.
* Proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements, policies and best practice.
* A passion for building culture through reinforcing company expectations and values.
* Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects.
