Senior Recruitment Partner at Hays Technology | Assoc. CIPD Requires a test lead/manager to lead the application testing of Digital Services Program within budget, timeframes, and quality standards to drive innovation and build digital capability within the organisation.
The main functions of the role are to:
Lead a team of testers to meet the product goals and quality standards. Be the conduit between vendor teams, system owners, technical teams, the project, and the business teams on all testing matters. Facilitate the delivery of all prerequisites and blockers that are required for the start of each test phase. Raise any critical blockers (whether upcoming or materialised) to project stakeholders. Liaise with all source system owners and the TDS teams who need to deliver on connectivity and/or any other technical requirements or issues. Develop, review and gain approval of test strategy, test plans and test cases. Maintain the test traceability matrixes aligned to business requirements. Manage the test activities and deliverables. Chair Defect Triage meetings to ensure that blocking defects are efficiently communicated to the appropriate team to fix. Convene daily defect status and triage meetings to ensure defect fixes are provided within acceptable timeframes to meet the overall test schedule. Prepare and present daily test progress reports, and the summary reports. Coordinate with technical and non-technical audiences to perform test activities. Proactively provide support to the Business and Project teams during all test phases including UAT and post-production verification testing. Maintain knowledge of current and future technology, especially Test Automation technologies. Requirements of Role: Minimum 10 years' experience in the software testing, 5 years' extensive experience in the Test Manager/Test Lead role. Experienced in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 testing will be considered as a plus. Demonstrated excellent ability to work with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to establish work priorities and manage deadlines. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experienced in supporting digital design, development, testing, and business change management activities. Experienced in developing test strategy, test plans and test cases of large-scale projects. Familiar with UI testing and API testing. Good understanding of non-functional test methodology. Good understanding of SDLC and familiar with CI/CD. Experienced in data migration testing, performance testing and accessibility testing will be considered as a plus. Experienced in test automation, minimum 2 years' hands-on experience will be considered as a plus. Seniority level Mid-Senior level
