Job Description
Financial Management:
- Implement cost control systems for enhanced financial efficiency.
- Prepare regular financial reports on project performance for stakeholders.
General Accounting:
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and adjustments.
- Prepare financial statements and reports compliant with local regulations and accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
The Ideal Candidate
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on project cost control.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in Australia and Malaysia.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
