The Role As the Rail Track Labourer, you are integral to the success of V/Line's maintenance team.
You will be involved in performing maintenance and upgrades on track and civil structures for the Victorian Rail Network under supervision.
Responsibilities for this role includegeneral maintenance of the track, facilitating anything within the rail reserve assets, providing a safe network for passengers and people who pass through.
The successful candidate must be flexible to travel across Traralgon, Bairnsdale and Pakenham.
Due to business requirements, there may be occasional night shifts and reactive shifts outside of normal working hours.
Key accountabilities include: Carrying out tasks for the renewal or maintenance work across the rail network Participating in the replacement or renewal of rail infrastructure materials i.e.
sleepers, rail, ballast, fastenings Safe operation of medium plant as required About You We are looking for a safety-conscious team player with a positive attitude.
