Traffic Response Officer
In this role, you will provide safe and effective traffic and incident management solutions to our stakeholders around road traffic incidents. You will patrol major network routes for incidents and hazards, rapidly respond to and clear traffic incidents, reduce the potential or risk of secondary incidents, provide safe diversions, minimize traffic delays and congestion, and provide continuous two-way radio communication with traffic management centres.
About you
Current and valid MR class drivers’ licence
Impeccable driving history (past 5 years)
General Induction White Card
Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, night work, and across various locations
Emergency Services experience is an advantage
Computer literate and able to use smartphones, tablets, and computer systems
Great communication skills and ability to manage conflict situations
Good problem-solving ability
