Join to apply for the Region Coordinator role at Business NSWBased in our Orange office and reporting into the Regional Director - Western NSW, the key objectives of the Region Coordinator - Western NSW are to support Business NSW efforts to deliver high quality events, thought leadership and communications. The position is a part-time permanent opportunity suitable to someone who is able to ideally work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This position requires high levels of competency with technology systems, events management, project management and secretariat support.This is a critical role that supports the Western region operations with a focus on stakeholder and member engagement, event management and will require a high level of flexibility in day-to-day tasks and focus as well as locations for the event days where you will be required to be onsite.You will have the opportunity to utilise your previous experience in administration, events management or project coordination to deliver key events to bring the Western region community and businesses together.Main responsibilities include:Support Director with administrative support as required including file management, printing, scheduling.Coordination of all internal and external thought leadership events, roundtables, workshops and meetings including event logistics, invitations, follow up, speaker management and actions.Coordination of all digital and printed assets related to events and thought leadership.Update and maintain all online assets with relevant information.Use of CRM, Accounting system, events and branding tools to capture business data and deliver local communications.Delivery of Business Awards Program including events logistics, communications, speaker and judging liaison, application support, entertainment sourcing and budget management.Manage suppliers, event venues, speakers, logistics as needed for schedule of delivery.Answer office phone, manage office suppliers and conduct office related ordering, process expenses.Manage events budget to targets and expenditure guidelines.Manage schedule of events and meetings using robust project management methodology to ensure on time and on budget outcomes.Triage member queries to the appropriate area for resolution.Participate in local networking activities to build profile and relationships.Work collaboratively as part of the western team office to deliver exceptional member service and event experience.To be Successful in this role, you will:Essential events coordination and or production experienceCurrent drivers’ licence is essential.High level competency skills in planning and organisationInterpersonal / customer relationship skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsThe ability to use various software and technology packages including canva, mail chimp, tech 1, Adobe Experience Manager, Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as being familiar with CRM packages, is desirable.Results-driven with a demonstrated history of achieving budgetary and other performance goals and objectivesAbility to network and leverage various networks for referralsAn understanding of the local business and industry environment and a commitment to helping local businesses develop and prosperExercise initiative and independent judgmentAbout the businessBusiness NSW is an Australian independent, not-for-profit membership organisation that identifies the key issues impacting business and finds practical policy solutions to ensure businesses across New South Wales prosper and grow.
