Location: All Locations Working Arrangement: Hybrid Security clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance LH-02403 Key duties and responsibilities : The department primarily relies on Microsoft Azure, M365, Dynamics 365, and DevOps platforms to support its operations. The Infrastructure Platforms Engineer will play a key role in various responsibilities, including data centre management, hardware and server management (with systems such as HPE Synergy, Dell, and others), and overseeing storage management. This includes deploying, configuring, managing, and tuning both physical and virtual storage systems, as well as managing Storage Area Network (SAN) switches and related hardware like HPE, NetApp, Dell Data Domain, Brocade Fabric Switches, and SANnav. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for backup configuration, management, and disaster recovery using tools like Veeam software and Dell Data Domain. The role also involves working with virtualization and automation technologies, such as VMware vSphere, vRealize, VMware Aria Automation, Orchestrator, Operations, and NSX-T. Requirements Response must be as a one-page pitch addressing the essential criteria: Essential Criteria: Proven experience in analysing business needs for Azure-based cloud environments (30% weight). Experience in implementing solutions for cloud workloads on the Azure platform (30% weight). Ability to establish effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders, including enterprise architecture teams, cyber security groups, and cloud operations, to obtain design approval (25% weight). Proven experience in applying information security principles and best practices, including the Information Security Manual (ISM) (15% weight). Desirable Criteria: Experience with a wide variety of cloud technologies, such as Azure AI, ML and Cognitive Services, Data Solutions, DevOps, CI/CD, Integration solutions, and API/Service-Oriented Architecture. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision in an Agile setting.
