This Opportunity In this role you will coordinate all logistics services as required for MMA Subsea Services Pty Ltd international & domestic shipments and projects.
Ensuring all freight complies with national and international transport and customs regulations and guidelines including compliance with export-controlled goods legislation.
Provide specialist knowledge and advice on the transport and freighting of goods across Marine, Air, and Rail including the shipping of DG's.
Qualifications High Risk licence – Forklift Formal qualifications in ADR, IMDG and IATA regulations (desirable).
Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
What do we need from you?
Extensive knowledge of marine & air freight forwarding practices and procedures and import / export, customs & AQIS requirements; specialising in marine industry transport needs is desirable.
Comprehensive understanding of dangerous goods transport by Sea, Air, Rail.
Experience and knowledge of Export Control procedures for the export of dual-use strategic goods.
Excellent work-ethics.
Ability to prioritise work and deliver work in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities Dangerous Goods storage and transport Arrange logistics services – Trucks, Cranes, Container Movements, Pallets to and from International / Interstate and Intrastate projects.
Produce all logistics related documentation (Commercial Invoicing, Manifesting, MO41, DG SDS's, Despatch Notes, Work Instructions, Procedures etc.)
Aid warehouse personnel in the preparation, packing, loading, unloading and receipting of incoming & outgoing freight.
Coordinate export control applications for dual use goods and ensure compliance with export control permits.
