The Role
Seeking dedicated Career Medical Officers to join a team of emergency specialists. With a focus on promoting seamless continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient services, you'll have the opportunity to work under the guidance of the hospital's newly appointed Head of Department and FACEM lead team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse patient population and be a part of the hospital's commitment to providing high-quality medical and surgical services.

The Hospital:
A modern 99 bed, well-equipped referral facility providing a comprehensive range of services including; acute medical and surgical, obstetrics, paediatrics and a range of diagnostic and allied health services.
Medical services include; respiratory, cardiac, chemotherapy, renal and palliative care.
Surgical services include; general, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology and ophthalmology. The referral community in the area comprises 55,200 residents.
The hospital has a busy Emergency Department, a Level 3 Close Observation Unit, mental health unit and renal dialysis unit and all services are supported by local specialist physicians and several general practitioners.
The Requirements
* Qualified medical practitioner registered in Australia or eligible for registration in Australia with at least three years post-graduate experience and appropriate training and experience
* Appropriate training and experience to work towards a leadership role in the ED, which will include being in charge of night shifts, whilst working with direct support from Consultant FACEMS staff on other shifts.
