An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Partner/ Senior Financial Analyst to join an industry leading tech company on a 12 month temporary basis.This is a pivotal role to support the wider team by provisioning strategic, insightful business analytics and fostering strong business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary financial/business partner to the Business Unit leader, driving effective planning and forecasting.
* Contribute significantly to the Business Strategy for the Australia Sales & Marketing teams, prioritizing initiatives based on in-depth analytics.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, identifying risks and opportunities that impact business growth and investment strategies.
* Lead forecasting and business analytics for Sales & Marketing, influencing short- and long-term investment decisions.
* Operate in a leadership capacity, mentoring and coaching finance team members while reporting to the Head of Finance.
* Drive investment decisions aimed at achieving optimal ROI and managing business acquisition costs for Sales & Marketing initiatives.
* Utilize strong commercial acumen to evaluate sales channels and identify growth opportunities in web and e-commerce platforms.
About You:
* You are a qualified financial analyst and accountant with a strong analytical mindset and a solid commercial understanding.
* You possess substantial experience in business partnering, effectively supporting and challenging non-finance stakeholders.
* With confidence and emotional intelligence, you excel in communicating with senior non-finance leaders across the organization.
* Ideally, you have experience in the high-tech industry and thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings.
* Qualifications include a CPA/CMA or equivalent, an undergraduate Business Degree (BBA/BCom) and/or an MBA, and 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
* You have knowledge of SaaS/Cloud Computing and a proven track record of leveraging analytics to enhance business performance.
* Your ability to influence leadership at all levels drives actionable outcomes and fosters growth.
* You lead teams to achieve exceptional results and are known for your self-motivation, initiative, and integrity.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, with Hyperion EssBase experience preferred for modeling complex business scenarios.
