Job Title: Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator Job Type: Full-timeWork location: On-siteReports to: Director and Business ManagerPOSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a talented in-house Graphic Designer with packaging design and online content creation experience to join the Boyle Industries team. As the Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in producing engaging graphics for various print and digital media that effectively communicates with the target audience and are aligned with the strategic and commercial objectives. The position will also drive and implement promotional marketing initiatives. You will ensure that the designs reflect our brand's image and engages consumers across various touch-points, both in the retail environment and online. You will also assist the team with production design as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design for product packaging and knowledge in online technologies. Key Responsibility Area #1: Graphic Design Packaging, print and brand design: Developing concepts and sub-brands for new product ranges while maintaining and adhering to the company's brand guidelines.Carry out the packaging design process, from trend research to presentation-ready renders/3D mock-ups, through to the creation of the print-ready artwork in a fast-paced environment.Designing product packaging for everyday and seasonal arts and craft products to meet strict delivery deadlines.Designing and updating print materials including, but not limited to, flyers, posters and business cards.Drawing and/or adjusting packaging die lines in Adobe Illustrator according to the packaging size requirements. Design and write product assembly instructions for craft products.Create written content and product blurbs.Ensure labeling on packaging meets the Australian safety standards.Assist with checking and approving artwork proofs and samples. Create and optimize graphics for online use, including, but not limited to website banners and images, social media posts and online advertisements.Create sales marketing materials for sales team.Actively keep product image library up to date.Creating internal signage including, but not limited to warehouse shelf labels.Key Responsibility Area #2: Marketing, (visual and written content creation) Create and update all visual and written website content including images, product descriptions, product prices, banners, category images and brand logos. Create and upload social media marketing images and videos.Plan, write, design, and execute email marketing campaigns to send our wholesale customer database via Mail chimp. Manage and maintain Website and e-commerce website.Maintain and update the wholesale catalogue on the sales platform, Field Folio. Liaise with developers to ensure optimal website functionality. General website troubleshooting.Photography: Photographing products, retouching, deep etching and resizing images to use across online platforms, social media, and marketing material. Product lifestyle photography.Assist with creating finished examples of craft products to photograph and use across printed and digital materials.Requirements Tertiary qualification in graphic design or related field.Extensive experience across Adobe Create Suite, most notably, Illustrator and Photoshop.Strong understanding of photography.Strong copy-writing skills.Must have excellent, written, reading and spoken English.High level of attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with product and packaging will be advantageous.Website and content management knowledge.Excellent eye for colors, typography, patterns and layouts.Must have a legal right to work in Australia.Qualities You have a passion for design.You have a keen interest in craft and consumer goods.Keen eye for detail to ensure top standards.The ability to collaborate in the team and accept constructive feedback.
