This is the chance to join right as the takes off. More About the Role at PEXA About the Role This is a critical role designed to drive data-driven decisions within the People Experience (PX) function.
It will apply statistical methods, advanced analytic and data modelling capabilities to collect, interpret, summarise and visualise People data, to obtain results and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve processes and solve business problems, in effective ways.
There is a strong focus on developing data and improving functionality to services the changing business needs and the wider PX teams understanding data.
Key Responsibilities Supporting People analytics for the organisation • Data gathering, analysis and modelling to identify trends, patterns, insights and connecting multiple data points to solve complex People business problems.
• Develop and maintain regular People metric reporting and insights to the Board, ELT and PX leadership, to monitor indicators of organisational health and effectiveness • Proactively investigate and analyse the data to drive actionable insights and recommend solutions as they emerge • Develop and support reporting and interactive dashboards • Provide data and analytical insights, to support the Executive team with workforce forecasting and scenario planning.
This may include the development of an analytical model for workforce planning, succession planning, and capability gap assessments • Support key People-related challenges across the business with data and insights, by working collaboratively across the PX function to help address business challenges, examples may include: o Design predictive models to inform People decisions and initiatives related to employee experience, retention, engagement, and performance o Create tools to identify bias in hiring, promotion, and pay decision making processes o Analyse effectiveness of recruitment channels and employee development programs o Build dashboards for tracking diversity, equity, and inclusion metrics • Develop and manage data integrity, accuracy, strategy and governance, including GDPR requirements Supporting a data-driven people function • Translate PX strategic initiatives into analytical frameworks • Support the establishment of Metric for PX initiatives • Educate the broader PX team on data-driven decision making • Build self-service dashboards for PX team Skills and Experience • Proven senior analytical/Data Scientist experience, ideally in People or HR roles • Tertiary qualification in data/computer science, statistics, business, finance or human relations fields • Hands-on expertise with data analytics, reporting, visualisation and warehousing tools like Snowflake, Streamlit, Tableau or Workday • Robust ability to interpret data and deliver insightful, data-driven recommendations • Proven track record in investigative analysis, providing in-depth evaluations of business factors to offer insights and suggestions, with Agile methodology experience Key Attributes • Self-driven with exceptional eye for detail • Strong analytical abilities to examine complex people data and extract meaningful insights • Excellent problem-solving skills to think outside the box for challenges • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to explain technical concepts clearly • Results-focused approach to deliver value and meet business needs • Adaptable and resilient with a positive attitude towards change • Proficient in presenting data clearly using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Workday etc.
• Ability to use predictive modelling to evaluate data and forecast outcomes • Preferred knowledge of People functions and processes
