Senior Technical Lead - Oracle e-Business Financials Job Description
How will I help?
To provide expert technical and/or domain expertise to both business and IT, covering all aspects of system applications including architecture, solution design, development, maintenance, support, technology selection, configuration, testing, implementation and/or enhancements across technology finance applications landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Provide high level technical solution definition and design during all SDLC phases with the goal of providing reliable, stable and operationally sound applications that meet business requirements.
2. Provide input into the planning of future application roadmaps, strategy and maintenance requirements.
3. Consult to the wider ITmunity to provide technical and/or domain advice and expertise to improve quality and robustness of solutions and maintain/support application systems and/or development.
4. Set direction and oversight for the consistent use and application of tools, standards, methods and processes to ensure that quality applications are developed with consistent maintainable code which supports risk andpliance management.
5. Apply expertise knowledge of systems to inform Architecture and Solutions Design on optimal designs to ensure high quality solutions are delivered to the business.
6. Deliver cost estimates for the design and develop phase in partnership with the architect, business analysts, project management, subject matter experts and solution providers for projects to provide accurate and timely cost estimates.
7. Lead the diagnose and resolution ofplex service (cross infrastructure/application) issues that may arise during the application/development life cycle to ensure effective development, maintenance, and support of applications.
8. Provide technical support, monitor, and drive process efficiency for application assets and maintenance across sub domains.
9. Provide high-level technical expertise to business/technology stakeholders to support relevant Suppliers and other business stakeholders.
10. Liaise with project team members (Business, Architecture, Security and Operations) and Suppliers to ensure strong relationships are maintained, and business, technology requirements and solutions are understood.
11. Review and rmend development techniques, strategies, and vendor products, and make rmendations on the acquisition of advanced technology to ensure Technology solutions meet the Technology and Business requirements.
12. Maintain focus on industry and technical trends to allow evaluation and rmendation of changes to the business strategy/ architecture and application development and maintenance within all application domains.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the below skills:
13. Over 7 years' experience in Information Technology, primarily in systems design, development, support, and maintenance.
14. Oracle e-Business Financials R12
15. Packaged software knowledge & experience (Hyperion, DRM, other on-prem financial packaged software) (Highly Desirable)
16. Packaged software installations / patching
17. SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Windows shell scripting, EBS technical stack software (OAF, WF, BI publisher, forms/reports), EBS customisations and personalisation's
18. DevOps tools like Git, Bitbucket, Artefactory/CARA
19. Systems integration - real time & batch, file based and APIs.
20. Advanced analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting and consultative skills.
21. A firm understanding of a financial services operating environment and finance applications and products is highly desirable.
22. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.
23. Foundational applications stacks and software proven working knowledge / experience Unix & Windows operating systems, Oracle & SQL Databases, Web/App servers, APIs, Clouds, Data & Analytics, Reporting, DevOps software, Infrastructure, Networking, Integration
24. Full SDLC life cycle with agile and waterfall frameworks
25. Proven / acquired / trained knowledge of technical concepts of enterprise architecture, contemporary IT strategies, directions and variety of application stacks and landscapes.
Education:
26. Tertiary level qualifications inputer Science or relevant industry recognised certification
27. Professional certifications in Oracle EBS 12 and/or other technologies
