Candor Homes is a residential home builder that builds quality homes in the Newcastle & Hunter Region.Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an Estimator / Administration Office to join our valued team. Please note this is a full-time position and will be based at our head office in Boolaroo.Working alongside our estimating manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Prepare purchase orders for construction jobs and send to suppliersSeek quotation estimates from suppliers and subcontractorsComplete estimating take offs and bill of quantities where requiredAssist in the preparation and administration of quotations, purchase orders, contracts, schedules, variation orders, and cost reports as requiredAssist with general administration on a daily basisAssist sales team with creating tenders during peak timesLiaise with drafting department to have plans updated as requiredPrepare and price selections pricing inquiry for clients to review upgrade optionsPrepare and update tenders after colour selections and send to clientsManage daily tasks in On Site CompanionPerform reasonable additional tasks as required by managementTo be successful in this position you will have:Proven experience in the residential building industry in estimating and/or quotingAbility to liaise professionally with all internal departments and external stakeholdersExceptional time management skillsCustomer service-oriented with a can-do attitudeExperience in the use of Onsite Companion and Databuild is an advantage but not a requirementHow to Apply:Please send your resume and cover letter to ****@candorhomes.com.au or hit the apply now button.
