As our Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing Azure cloud solutions that meet our client’s business needs. You will be responsible for leading workshops, creating architecture diagrams, and deploying Azure resources using the latest Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will be crucial in liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement innovative cloud solutions on Azure, ensuring they meet performance, security, and compliance criteria.
2. Lead Azure capability and requirements workshops to inform architecture development.
3. Architect Azure platforms with a focus on strategic business outcomes.
4. Produce high-quality Azure architecture and network diagrams, as well as comprehensive documentation.
5. Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to translate technology problems and solutions.
6. Present technical considerations and architecture options to non-technical audiences with clarity and confidence
7. Guide and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud computing to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
9. Implement Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment techniques for Azure resources.
What we’re looking for

10. Extensive experience in cloud engineering with a specialization in Azure platform solutions.
11. In-depth understanding of infrastructure, DevSecOps and integration technologies.
12. Solid foundation in networking, security, and best practices for cloud deployments
13. Strong presentation skills and the ability to discuss technical topics with non-technical audiences.
14. Experience in architecting Azure platforms, considering all aspects of cloud solution design.
15. Experience in running workshops and developing cloud architectures.
16. Proficiency in creating detailed Azure architecture/network diagrams and documentation.
17. Familiarity with at least one programming language (, C#, Java).
18. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment tools such as Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform.
