We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at a Special Developmental School (SDS) in Wheelers Hill, starting in January (Term 1) for an ongoing role. Sponsorship is available for candidates requiring a visa. In this position, you will deliver tailored educational programs to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning experience for each child. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual educational plans (IEPs). Key responsibilities include developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with support staff, parents, and specialists to create a nurturing educational environment. While experience in special education is not essential, a commitment to fostering student growth and independence is essential.
