1. Opportunity for a Surveyor to join the Crown Lands team that manage and sustain some of the most iconic and diverse land across NSW.
2. Permanent full-time opportunity, located in Nowra, Grafton, Tamworth or Orange. Location flexible across other NSW locations including Sydney and Newcastle y negotiation.
3. Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $93,295 to $102,941 + super
In this role you will undertake cadastral survey investigations including calculations and fieldwork relating to the subdivision, redefinition and status of Crown Land and water boundaries, in addition to providing survey advice for land management projects and activities to achieve government priorities in the management of Crown land.
About you
To be successful in this role you will;
4. Demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining a proficiency in cadastral survey investigations particularly involving water and Crown land and Crown road boundaries.
5. Demonstrate experience in providing advice and recommendations on survey matters to clients and colleagues.
6. Demonstrate an ability to work with a broad range of conflicting and competing priorities in a high workload and dynamic political environment.
Essential requirements
7. Degree qualifications in Surveying with willingness to become registered under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002.
8. Current drivers’ licence and willingness to travel.
