Not required to work split shifts Manage your own hours in accordance with the requirements of the service Collaborative work environment, feel empowered as the Assistant Coordinator Closed for 2 weeks over Christmas Annual bonus Support from a highly experienced Coordinator, 5 permanent staff and a team of 20 casuals About You You will hold a Diploma or Bachelor in an Early Childhood or Education field of study Experienced leader and on the floor manager Ability to manage and coordinate rostering and last-minute staffing arrangements Proven ability to hold your team accountable for their tasks and performance during their shift Full work rights Paid and valid WWCC About the Role Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week Management of the daily operations of the OOSH program Ensure the smooth running of the program which is created in line with the National Quality Framework and Standards Develop lasting and trusting relationships with the children, families, team, management as well as the P&C Committee Foster positive relationships with key local community groups Ensure the service remains compliant in relation to staff ratio, record-keeping, safety and regulation requirements About the OOSH The OOSH caters for 230 children daily but is currently running at a maximum of 130 children per day during After School Care. They are in operation from 7am to 9am for Before School Care, 3pm to 6.30pm and 8am to 6pm for Vacation Care.
