Senior Project Officer Temporary full-time role up to December 2025 with possibility of extension Based in Northern Rivers, with flexible working arrangements options Clerk Grade 9/10 ($120,859 - $133,183) plus super and annual leave loading About the NSW Reconstruction AuthorityThe NSW Reconstruction Authority (the Authority) is a statutory corporation within the Planning & Environment cluster. The Authority will improve how NSW plans for disasters and make sure that communities across the state recover from them faster. The Authority will complete critical planning and preparation to reduce the severity and impacts of disasters and will start recovery swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts when disasters occur. About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to perform project management and governance activities to coordinate divisional reporting and business planning, including delivery of the Northern Rivers Disaster Readiness Program (NRDRP). In this role you will: Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team in the Northern Rivers to coordinate divisional reporting and business planning and to advise on improvements related to data capture and program monitoring. Design and coordinate project and program interdependency mapping, working with projects leads to proactively identify, manage and leverage interdependencies. Perform the role of secretariat for the NRDRP Project Control Board as well as coordinate monthly finance meetings. Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management, especially with the Authority’s Enterprise Project Management Office Draft briefs and executive correspondence relating to project governance and implementation.
