This team is an enabling function and plays a crucial role in supporting the Customer Markets business unit at AGL, by providing actionable insights and data models for price recommendations and customer value insights, using techniques like predictive modelling, customer lifetime value optimization, usage forecasting, and price scenario modelling and process automation.The Data Modeller will design, develop, and maintain pricing models, focusing on data extraction, report building, and scenario analysis. This role involves timely delivery of high-quality insights and requires collaboration with portfolio pricing, customer value optimization, commercial, marketing, sales, and product teams. The Data Modeller will address commercial challenges by offering data-driven insights into customer pricing across various segments and channels.What you’ll be doing:Design and maintain advanced data models, including conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional modelling.Develop interactive dashboards and self-service models for insightful, data-driven decision-making.Optimize data models and queries to enhance performance and address bottlenecks in data processing.Collaborate with pricing, commercial, and IT teams to translate business needs into effective data solutions.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and adapt to changes in a competitive environment.Document data models and processes thoroughly, keeping documentation current and accessible.About you:Previous demonstrated experience as a Pricing/Data Modeller, Data Scientist or similar discipline.
