E&I Commissioning Engineer (Oil & Gas) Wood is recruiting for an E&I Commissioning Engineer (Oil & Gas) to join our growing team in Darwin, NT. This is a permanent role to join our expanding Oil and Gas Operations team, due to recently securing several large projects with existing long-term clients, in addition to partnering with a major player in the Oil & Gas industry to provide Brownfield Engineering, Procurement and Construction services on a long-term, Engineering Service Contract. Wood's Operations Australia / Asia Pacific (West) business delivers engineering & brownfield modifications, operations & maintenance, procurement, construction, asset management and optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector - with long-term partnerships supporting the region's most prominent producers located in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, and South-East Asia. You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply. What will set you apart: You are currently based in Darwin / willing to relocate to Darwin. Ideally, you will be a qualified engineer with an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized institution. In addition, you will have: Appropriate level of commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas industry sector. Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience. Good standard of general computer literacy. Fully conversant with regards to discipline technical knowledge. Proven experience of interpreting discipline documentation. Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan.
