SENIOR HSE Safety & Training Advisor - FIFO 8/6 Roster - Cape Preston (SINO)PPS Servicing has proven experience and capabilities in the mining industry, including maintenance, construction, engineering design, fabrication, and installation of industrial facilities.We seek an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join our growing team based at the Sino Iron Project.Applicants will work on the 8/6 roster from Perth and be based at Sino Iron Projects.The role responsibilities:Administering Incident reports and actions as per company proceduresAssisting HR Manager with injury managementLiaising with client HSEQ representatives on project issues and system requirementsAdvising site of legislative requirements for safety and environmental management and corporate compliance requirementsConducting HSE inspections and audits including follow-up on completed actionsProviding all necessary assistance to the company on HSE issuesConduct hazard identification and risk assessmentsWeekly and monthly report of compliance to the client and PPS managementA weekly and monthly collection of safety, environmental and quality-related KPIsReceipt, review and actioning of customer feedback by way of complaints, congratulationsEnsure the regular testing and calibration of all gauges for the quality assurance system are carried outEncouraging a healthy, safe and environmentally responsible working culture among personnelDistribution of material on health safety and environmental education, promotion and awareness including suitable toolbox topicsPreparing and maintaining relevant company documentation and records as per document control proceduresFacilitating or assisting as required in toolbox meetingsAttending client/company HSE committee meetings as requiredAssisting with the coordination of training programs including the maintenance of competency standardsMUST HAVE:Minimum 4 years experience in a mining site-based HSE roleQualified Training and AssessorAustralian 'C" class motor vehicle licenseExperience USING STEMS and Cintellate SystemsADVANCED computer skills in Word and ExcelStrong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standardsProven ability to communicate with groups of individualsKeen attention to detail, organised and methodical in approach to paperwork and other dutiesAbility to communicate assertively and effectively with management, trades staff and client representativesISO 9001 QualityISO 45001 Health and SafetyApplicants will be required to:Undertake and pass a Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Test before commencement.Clean-shaven for the use of a P2 Respirator is required.APPLY NOWAlternatively, you can email your updated resume to ****** or call Lyndsay at 0421 026 724 with any queries about this position.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Health, Safety and Environment Adviser?Do you have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment? #J-18808-Ljbffr
