As a Focus Group Recruiter with McGregor Tan, you will be a vital part of our market research efforts, helping to gather diverse opinions and insights. Responsibilities will include managing team workflow and team support, and you will be tasked with screening and recruiting suitable participants for face-to-face or online research groups, interviews, mystery shopping, and online forums. This is a hybrid role with the ability to combine working from our office in Frewville, with agreed work from home days after successful completion of training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily distribution of workflow across the recruitment team members to ensure each project is adequately resourced and project deadlines are being met.
* Working closely with the Recruitment Manager to update on project progress, and timely communication of any issues or questions that arise during the course of a project.
* Some administrative tasks related to project management.
* Contact potential participants using a provided list to recruit them for participation in research.
* Clearly explain the purpose, requirements, and duration of the research to ensure participants are well-informed.
* Manage participant data with discretion and confidentiality, maintaining accurate records in our database, and adhering to Market Research Codes of Conduct.
* Utilise Excel and other software tools and systems to organise and track recruitment efforts and participant information.
* Meet daily and weekly recruitment targets, ensuring each research project is fully staffed with appropriate demographics within the required timeframes.
* Provide feedback on recruitment strategies and participant engagement to improve processes.
* Ability to work 15-25 hours per week, with flexible scheduling across 4-5 days.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and empathetically over the phone.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a track record of meeting targets.
* High level of professionalism and strong ethical standards.
* Attention to detail is a must.
* Previous experience in telephone recruitment or as a call centre team leader.
* Knowledge of market research or experience participating in focus groups.
