The Marketing & Event Assistant is a new and important member of the Hey Dowling team. The Marketing & Event Assistant will work closely with the Hey Dowling Directors to realise Hey Dowling’s objectives of offering accessible artistic programming to a wider audience and fostering sustainable careers for Hey Dowling artists.
This role is accountable to the Hey Dowling Directors for delivery of event support and marketing services for Hey Dowling artists, shows, and projects.
The Marketing & Event Assistant will work closely with the Hey Dowling Directors to develop effective and efficient systems for the ease of workflow in the areas of marketing, administration, event support and other duties as required to support Hey Dowling projects.
Experience in related roles at Fringes, or similar open-access arts festivals (street team, marketing or administration, front of house, ticketing).
Experience in social media campaigns and content creation for creative industries.
Experience managing small teams in fast paced environments.
Experience working closely with performers and production personnel
Sales experience (retail, ticketing or similar)
