Full Stack Senior Developer (.NET) Job Description
NOTE: Based in either Gold Coast or Sydney
How will I help?
This is a unique opportunity for a full stack Senior engineer to work across our Consumer Bank and Business Bank Teams. This team uses .Net and Microsoft SQL technologies to design, architect, develop and support solutions for our customers.
The core responsibilities include:
1. Experience in large scale programs within enterprise environments (banking/finance).
2. Perform the design and development of software solutions for business-critical application change projects, enhancements, maintenance and/or support.
3. Ability to lead teams with excellentmunication and stakeholder management skills.
4. Provide expert technical expertise to scrum teams, covering all aspects of the system.
5. Ensure that applications are developed with consistent maintainable code.
6. Apply expert knowledge of systems to inform Architecture and Solution Design optimal design.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of applications throughout lifecycle and provide technical input to the planning of future application and maintenance requirements.
8. Provide technical guidance/coaching/mentoring to other engineers.
9. Lead the diagnosis and resolution of production issues to ensure effective development, maintenance, and support of applications.
10. Maintain focus on industry and technical trends to enable evaluation and rmendation of changes to application development, maintenance, and integration.
11. Effective change and incident management ownership.
12. Provide technical solution options and their associated time and effort estimates.
13. Ensure that system development standards are maintained and participate in code reviews

What do I need?
Mandatory skills:
14. Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer / Engineer or similar role in developing Customer facing enterprise level web applications.
15. Sound experience in application architecture design patterns and development practices
16. Extensive knowledge of .NET technology stack (C#, WCF, MVC, APIs).
17. Extensive knowledge of front-end languages and libraries - CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap framework, HTML5, Angular, React, and jQuery.
18. Extensive knowledge [KN1] of Microsoft SQL Server.
19. Knowledge ofmon development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, PowerShell, Sonar, etc.
20. Hands on working experience with CI/CD tool such as Bamboo, Jenkins.
21. Experience with Groovy/Cucumber or other Test Automation tools
22. Be up to date with latest trends in technology with a passion to bring new ideas to turn to reality.
23. Effective change and incident management ownership.
24. An understanding of Test-driven development with frameworks.
25. Be a team player
Desirable skills:
26. Experience working with Agile development methodology using tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
27. Experience of working in environment with multiple integration systems.
28. Provide regular status updates and reporting to the project and technology stakeholders
