About the Role Join our dynamic teams at the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health and Melbourne Centre for Data Science, as an early-career researcher. Participate in grant-funded projects focused on enhancing the well-being of brain cancer patients and young stroke survivors through the development of pioneering digital health platforms. Dive into data analytics, evaluating platform usability and patient engagement, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise in data science will drive insights, fostering real-world healthcare outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
4. Establish and maintain a staging pipeline for usage/analytics data extracted from each web-based platform.
5. Design and implement data verification and cleaning procedures for usage/analytics data.
6. Generate research outputs relating to the analytical/exploratory methods used, including drafting of relevant manuscript sections and slides
Who We Are Looking For
We're looking for an adept candidate with strong data management skills, interdisciplinary collaboration experience, and a solid understanding of health data handling and governance. High-quality research output, organisational prowess, and effective communication are key, along with analytical problem-solving abilities and the knack for conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
You will also have:
7. A PhD in data science or related discipline
8. Demonstrated experience in use of real-world data
9. A track record of applying data science methods to complex real world problems to gain novel and useful insights
