* Opportunity to be part of a remote clinical team and deliver occupational therapy services across remote NT communities
What’s the role?
* Working in a culturally diverse environment, providing a contemporary, evidence-based occupational therapy service, including assessment, treatment planning and evaluation, for people presenting with a wide range of conditions and syndromes and mental health concerns
* Support with transition and ongoing treatment planning for clients with disability discharged from hospital into medium term accomodation
* Provide independents, specialist and clinical input into treatment planning, development and delivery of core business
Is this the right role for you?
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
* Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
* Experience in implementing evidence-based frameworks and delivering holistic supports
* Hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid certificate, evidence of Australian work rights, and an NT Drivers Licence
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
