An Exciting Opportunity Awaits An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Creative Producer to join our TES Live team based in Melbourne. About TES Live TES Live is the leading producer and supplier of family entertainment and live activation across the Australian and International markets. Over TES Live’s two-decade history, the organisation has developed an unmatched reputation for innovative brand engagement that creates memorable and powerful customer experiences. TES Live design, build, create and produce over 1,500 live activations’ annually, across all sizes, scope and industries. The Role The Creative Producer is responsible for leading and managing the development, production and delivery of events in order to meet client’s expectations and budget requirements. The role includes managing operational, implementation and administrative functions internally to ensure specific events are delivered efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities: Client Management Build and maintain trusted client relationships, including proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating their needs to ensure successful client retention and continuous business. Sales & Proposals Develop compelling written proposals and quotes for targeted client accounts. Negotiate mutually beneficial budgets with clients, ensuring effective event execution within required profit margins. Achieve quarterly sales targets as per business retention plan Project & Event Management Plan and execute events seamlessly, including: Identifying resources and creating comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery within budget and margins. Conducting site visits as needed. Overseeing event execution, including clear communication and management of relevant internal and external stakeholders before, during, and after events. Producing detailed run sheets, bump-in/out schedules, event manuals, and briefing documents for each event. Communicating plans effectively with on-site staff. Providing production support by collaborating to solve creative challenges. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate and coordinate effectively with internal teams (sales, creative, production, and warehouse) and external contractors. Manage relationships with key stakeholders including partners and partner venues. Administration & Finance Provide administrative support to the Business Manager and wider team as required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the database. Manage event budgets meticulously, including processing invoices and purchases as required. Produce post event reports for both the client and internal stakeholders. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Ensure strict adherence to OHS regulations for all events and productions Requirements The Person Stakeholder management – Understands underlying needs and issues of stakeholders and negotiates effectively to develop and implement solutions Leadership – Manages various departments effectively, providing clear direction, advice and necessary support in day to day processes and procedures Project management – Develops and implements straight forward project plans, undertake multiple project activities, maintains regular contact with project members. Verbal communication - Builds effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and confidently argues complex concepts negotiating with tact and diplomacy regarding difficult issues Planning and organising – Uses knowledge and experience to ensure the systems are accurate and updated ensuring progress tracking according to agreed expectations, routines and procedures Problem solving – Solves problems based on operational knowledge and experience, looking for underlying causes and suggesting alternative solutions to clients. Influence and negotiation – Establishes trust with clients and works to understand their needs. Gathers and considers information from others and develops persuasive arguments to address issues raised. Other key considerations for this position Due to the nature of this role, work is required outside of business hours and on the weekend.
