Quality Engineer - Perm Opportunity
Our Product Engineering teams are responsible for building, maintaining and running the applications and systems used by Greenstone customers and stakeholders.
We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to champion quality within the team. They lead the quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of software quality across our products. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying risks, implementing effective testing practices, and improving code quality while providing subject matter and test automation expertise.
A key focus of the role is enabling the team and uplifting testing capability, ensuring quality is a team responsibility and priority. The successful candidate will bring experience in quality practices such as automation, or exploratory testing, as well as a quality mindset. They hold the team accountable to the agreed upon quality standards and strive to continually improve both the product quality and team quality practices.
What we're looking for:
* Atleast 3-6 years of experience in software testing with focus on automation.
* Knowledge and experience with SQL databases.
* Experience with API testing using SoapUI or Postman.
* Experience scripting test automation using Python, C#, Groovy, JavaScript or similar.
* Experience with Testing tools like SmartBear, TestComplete, Selenium, ReadyAPI, and various frameworks such as BDD, SpecFlow and data-driven.
* Experience testing solutions on cloud platforms and services such as AWS /Azure.
* Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies and processes, e.g. Scrum, Kanban.
* Prior involvement with conducting desk checks/ incident response beneficial.
* Relevant degree qualifications and continuous professional development in quality engineering and testing.
