JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for fulfilling sample orders and maintaining inventory of sample stock. Additional job-related/territory duties and showroom responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to sample order fulfillment.
2. Coordinate sample order fulfillment process including sample order processing, shipment scheduling, and delivery tracking.
3. Work cross-functionally with colleagues and managers in sales and operations.
4. Manage inventory levels and replenishment to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
5. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of order fulfillment operations.
6. Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to order fulfillment and inventory management.
7. Maintain work environment to Maharam standards.
MAGNITUDE AND RELATIONSHIP REPORTING
This position reports to Manager, Sales Support.
CONTACTS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION
This position has contact with international logistics, sample production, product management and other related operational departments as needed. Additionally, there is direct contact with local sales reps and sales coordinators within the organization.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
1. Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
2. Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently and professionally.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Detail oriented and organized with an ability to multitask.
5. Driven, self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously.
6. Superior time management skills and comprehension of global time zones.
7. Desire to work as part of a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study is preferred.
2. Prior experience in fulfillment is preferred.
3. Minimum 2 years of related experience.
