We are currently seeking a Billings Nurse to play a key role in supporting our Academics and Clinicians across all services and support the training of the next generation of veterinarians. The Billings Nurse will provide financial support to University Veterinary Teaching Hospital by managing and overseeing the billing processes. In the position you will be responsible for generating and processing estimates and invoices for veterinary services responsible for proactively identifying and resolving billing issues with a constructive problem-solving mindset responsible for training and inducting both staff and students in billing practices and processes as required working closely with insurance companies to submit claims, verify coverage and resolve billing discrepancies providing clear and concise explanations of veterinary bills to clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have Working collaboratively with a number of groups in the hospital including the reception team, unit heads, veterinarians and administrative staff.
