It is also a chance to celebrate the world’s second oldest living culture, the Australia’s First Nations peoples, and to promote and further the cause of accessibility and opportunity for all.Brisbane 2032 will truly be a Games where everyone has the opportunity to shine their brightest.About The PositionWe are looking for a highly motivated Legal Administrator to join our team and support the Legal and Rights Protection Functions (collectively Legal Functions). Initially reporting to the Director of Legal, this role is essential to enabling the efficient and effective operation of an initially small in-house legal team that will scale to a large and complex team as the organisation grows.The Legal Function is responsible for providing legal advice and support across 55 functional areas, as well as protecting Brisbane 2032’s commercial rights. The Legal Administrator will play a crucial role in providing administrative support, managing data, and preparing reports. They will also leverage business intelligence and data analysis to enhance decision-making and service quality.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will support the Director of Legal in the delivery of the legal and rights protection operations for the in-house team. This will include: Maintain and manage files and documentation including contracts, agreements, and compliance records. Monitor, track and report on workflow. Assist with tracking of budget and financial reporting. Monitor and report on delivery of services provided. Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide support to legal team members on operational processes and technology. Develop and maintain accurate reports and data visualisation dashboards. Prepare compelling PowerPoints. Identify opportunities to drive improved use of data. Develop and implement systems, policies and procedures. Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating with team members and monitoring inboxes. About YouTo be successful in this role you will have the following skills: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administration, operations, project administration or a related role. Highly competent in Microsoft 365 systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong experience using Microsoft Lists and Power Bi highly regarded. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve goals. Demonstrated ability and willingness to ‘roll up sleeves’ and take on any level of work as required in a small team. Demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport, understand needs and find solutions.
