They are seeking a Consultant C&A Psychiatrist to join our highly professional and enthusiastic Mental Health Services team at the Hospital. This position is for an initial one year, with a view to a further three-year contract if mutually agreed. The Hospital: Our client’s purpose-built 298-bed teaching hospital offers a suite of medical services from its location, 2 hours’ drive from Melbourne. Catering for a population of more than 260,000, the hospital treats close to 130,000 people every year in their busy Emergency Department. The hospital provides services in the areas of aged care, cancer care, elective surgery, maternity, rehabilitation, and mental health. It runs eight community mental health centres across the region and a Community Residential Care Unit for people with prolonged severe mental illness and associated disability.
