This role involves overseeing the delivery of major transportation projects, including high-profile local projects and significant national and international ventures. This role offers the opportunity to support the growth of our transportation group within the wider BG&E team, embedding technical excellence in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Lead Project Delivery: Manage and deliver medium to large-scale transport projects, providing design management and technical leadership to achieve exceptional outcomes for our clients.Technical Leadership: Play a pivotal role in the growth and technical development of our transport team. Focus on expanding our capabilities in the design and delivery of major road projects.Engineering Excellence: Perform engineering duties as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in planning, design, and documentation of road designs. This includes the preparation of detailed technical design reports and drawings.Business Development: Support the transport team in identifying and pursuing new project opportunities by contributing to proposal preparation, articulating our technical and delivery capabilities, and supporting the preparation of commercial offers for road project designs.Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development and pursuit of professional qualifications.About You:Leadership Style: You possess an inclusive and collaborative leadership style.Educational Background: You hold tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field.Professional Status: You are a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) preferred.
