About The Role
Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world-class and our staff are dedicated, innovative, and caring.
The Control Room Operator is employed on a 12-hour rotating shift and is responsible for the operation of all functions relating to the Engineering Services Control Room. This includes first line response for service requests, operation of the campus BMS and associated building services, and management of external service providers as required.
Ideal Candidate
* Has completed a full apprenticeship in HVAC, mechanical or electrical trade and extensive post-trade experience.
* Has a current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
* Has experience in the operation and maintenance of plant and equipment in a multistorey building/commercial environment.
* Has proven an understanding of the operation of mechanical systems such as air conditioning chillers, boilers, pumps, and air compressors.
