KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the head chef to manage daily kitchen operations effectively.
Plan menus and manage food and labor costs.
Prepare and cook food, ensuring that dishes are consistently cooked to the highest standards.
Maintain dish quality throughout the preparation, cooking, and presentation process.
Demonstrate culinary techniques and cooking procedures to the kitchen staff.
Implement food safety and hygiene procedures and ensure cleanliness in the kitchen.
Order food supplies and keep inventory levels consistent to ensure freshness and availability.
Address food quality concerns in collaboration with the manager and staff.
Train kitchen staff.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum diploma in hospitality or an equivalent certification.
At least one year of experience working in a commercial kitchen.
Experience with food cost and labor cost management.
Experience in menu planning and recipe development.
Strong knowledge of hygiene regulations and food safety standards.
Capable of training and supervising kitchen staff.

PAY: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
