The appointment of this business-critical role will further propel the medium sized team its status as the benchmark across the industry.Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will lead, manage and drive all aspects of the factory including safety, quality, HR/IR, production, maintenance, inwards goods, warehouse, despatch & distribution, projects and continuous improvements.The Factory / Plant Manager position is a key leadership role and will play a pivotal part in leading from the front whilst maintaining overall compliance and ensuring quality product is turned out in full and distributed on time. Ideally you will have a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse team through process, utilization of systems and integrity, whilst maintaining clear communication lines with all stakeholders.To be considered for this role you will have a very strong background and experience in the following areas:Driving quality improvements in product, process & application so all products / services provided are delivered / exceed customer expectations.Manufacturing leadership experience within a fast-paced industrial environment.Strong communication, coaching, consultation and negotiation skills with an ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders including senior management, line managers as well as permanent and casual shop floor employees.Strong Quality control, quality assurance, self & supplier performance management, dispatch & logistics & coordination with purchasing for material supply.Proven continuous improvement, OH&S, Industrial relations, compliance and change management are integral to success.Demonstrated ability in cost effective production, effective use of labour, materials and equipment resources along with preventative maintenance programs.Strong experience with transport and logistics with a successful track record of meeting distribution targets.Coaching and training of employees and monitoring of operational KPI's.Success profile:A minimum of 5 years factory / plant management experience within manufacturing.Tertiary/Degree qualifications in Manufacturing or Engineering and/or Business Management or related discipline.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control.Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.A natural facilitator of change who is engaging, supportive and collaborative to the overall team, that can set / agree a vision and intuitively work towards it.This is an exciting opportunity to join an Australian manufacturing success story that are investing for the long term and can offer you an exciting career.Should you wish to become a valued member of this well performing team, an excellent remuneration package is on offer so submit your application today by clicking the 'Apply Now' button. #J-18808-Ljbffr
