The Role:
This Part Time Cleaning position is available at our site on the University of Sydney Campus.
Work hours are from Monday to Friday: 3am to 7am.
If you have commercial or retail cleaning experience and want to join a team that makes a difference, we encourage you to apply.
This role is paid according to the Cleaning Services Award.
Key Responsibilities:
* Present yourself well, be proactive and able to work independently
* Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience is preferred (on-the-job training will be provided)
* You should have an understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or be willing to learn)
* Cleaning machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) is preferred
* You should have good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
* You must be physically fit to carry out standard duties and able to walk for lengthy periods
* You should have good listening skills and be able to follow instructions
* You must be able to communicate in verbal and written English
* You are required to work flexible hours and public holidays
* You must have valid work rights in Australia
