THE ROLEAs the Senior Application Developer, you will be working with a team committed to the delivery of a new data-driven website. You will be tasked with helping Queenslanders navigate a complex system to make study choices that will shape their future.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage collaborative relationships and consult with key project stakeholders and external vendors to advise, analyze, design, and develop solutions to meet business requirements.Resolve issues relating to priorities, technical concepts, key technical decisions, scheduling, and change management processes with a customer-service focus.Pro-actively monitor support requests for incident and feature enhancement of ICT systems, including requirements analysis, risk assessment, development, and ongoing support.Execute the end-to-end software development processes to deliver successful business outcomes.Maintain and develop all required documentation in internal systems including design documents, standards, processes, and supporting procedures.LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITHExperience in IT service management and software development processes and frameworks, supporting, designing, and developing enterprise systems.Proven experience in modern coding languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and C# in developing responsive web apps/components.Ability to use appropriate tools, techniques, and technologies for application design, development, and support that are compliant with industry best practices.Experience in the development and deployment of scalable, fit-for-purpose, and secure cloud-based applications, preferably in Azure.A sound understanding of DevSecOps practices and principles, including hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines configuration and management.HIGHLY DESIRABLEExperience with the Queensland Government Design System.Experience with Next.js, Node.js runtime, Vue.js frameworks, or similar.Experience working with content management systems, e.g., Matrix, AEM, or similar.Knowledge and experience with MS Power Automate and Power Platform.Knowledge and experience with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities, please contact Jack McDougall at 07 3339 5611 or email: jmcdougall@paxus.com.au and quote the above job reference number.Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and people living with a disability.
