Pilbara Ports are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Network Administrator to join their team. This will involve working full time with our small team on site and in office in Port Hedland.
The Network Administrator provides ICT and Network Systems support across PPA's sites. The Network Administrator is also responsible for providing ICT and Network Support outside of business hours as required.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role and hold a relevant qualification in ICT from a recognised tertiary institution. Certificates in networking such as Cisco Certified Network professional (CCNP), and Palo Alto or Fortinet would also be advantageous.
Further requirements include:
* Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory and Office Applications.
* Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware, networking, and communication devices.
* Sound communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Well-developed customer service skills with experience operating in a client centric service provider environment.
* Previous experience working with systems such as PRTG, Serial / 3G Data loggers, IPTV, Exchange, and VM ESX Servers would be advantageous.
